  • For a fixed price, the SoCal Day Pass unlocks unlimited, systemwide travel on Metrolink trains and codeshare Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains on the day of purchase.

  • Pass is available for a fixed fare of $5, and is valid for trips to and from these stations ONLY:
    • Burbank Airport - North (AV Line)
    • Burbank Airport - South (VC Line)
    • Burbank - Downtown
    • Cal State L.A.
    • Commerce
    • Glendale
    • L.A. Union Station
    • Montebello / Commerce

5-Day Flex Pass

TICKET DETAILS

  • The 5-Day Flex Pass is best for riders who travel at least five days within a 30-day period from date of purchase, not calendar month
  • This fare offers a 10% discount compared to buying 10 One-Way tickets, and fare is based on your origin and destination station pair

PURCHASING AT A TICKET MACHINE

  • When purchased at a ticket machine, a single paper ticket is dispensed, valid for each of the five days you choose to ride

PURCHASING ON THE MOBILE APP

  • When purchased on the Metrolink mobile app, five individual passes appear in your ticket wallet

Monthly Pass

TICKET DETAILS

  • The Monthly Pass is best for frequent riders who ride Metrolink frequently per week during a month
  • The Monthly Pass is valid for unlimited travel during the calendar month for the stations displayed on the pass, the origin and destination stations

PERKS OF THE MONTHLY PASS

  • Unlimited weekend travel on Metrolink, systemwide, for Monthly Pass holders between 7:00 p.m. Fridays until 11:59 p.m. Sundays
  • Under the Rail 2 Rail® program, Monthly Pass holders are entitled to both Metrolink and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains between the station pair displayed on the pass
  • LAX FlyAway shuttle service between L.A. Union Station and Los Angeles International Airport is also included for Metrolink Monthly Pass holders. Simply present your Metrolink Monthly Pass along with your airline boarding pass

KIDS RIDE FOR FREE

Please note that the below does not apply on Codeshare or Rail 2 Rail Amtrak trains.

Saturdays and Sundays
Ages 17 and under

  • On Saturdays and Sundays, up to three children age 17 and under ride free with a fare-paying adult using a valid ticket/pass
  • Transfers to local transit are not included for free-riding passengers

Weekdays and Holidays
Ages 5 and under

  • On weekdays and holidays, children age 5 and under ride free with an adult with valid fare (limit three per adult)
  • Transfers to local transit are not included for free-riding passengers

TRANSFERS

Each Metrolink ticket or pass includes free transfers to most local transit providers, such as LA Metro bus, subway, and light rail, helping you complete your trip without paying extra.
